Our Story
Bits Of Color Art is the creative outlet of someone who fully embraces their Gemini nature. If you've ever read a Gemini personality description, you'll probably recognize the inspiration behind the eclectic collection of artwork and handcrafted items you'll find here.
Geminis are known for their curiosity, creativity, and endless stream of new ideas. They thrive on learning, exploring, and trying new things. While some people find comfort in mastering a single craft, Geminis are happiest when moving from one creative adventure to the next—and Bits Of Color Art reflects that spirit perfectly.
What began as a hobby creating beaded jewelry gradually grew into something more. Before long, there was more jewelry than could be worn, gifted, or stored, and the idea of selling those creations was born. Eventually, a move out of state provided the perfect opportunity for a fresh start. The beads were sold, and it was time to explore a new creative path.
That path led to art.
The journey began with spray paint, followed by a brief—and admittedly disastrous—attempt at watercolor painting. Soft pastels came next, and eventually acrylic painting became a favorite medium.
Today, Bits Of Color Art features original acrylic artwork alongside a growing collection of handcrafted items.
As creativity continued to evolve, new crafts found their way into the studio. Layered paper shadow boxes, handmade greeting cards, hand-painted bud vases, and other unique creations joined the collection. And if history is any indication, there will always be something new waiting just around the corner.
